Opt-Out

Gojo's a charming heroic character,

buuuuuuut,

first of all, he will just ignore whatever he is told to do or told NOT to do, so he tends to intrude on personal space and may ignore specifically stated boundaries. i do my best to pay attention to permissions pages and to do standard rp 'telegraphing' a move so that a character can pull away, or hypothetical 'if Character doesn't pull away then Gojo does XYZ' in my tags, but I find that Gojo tramples boundaries so thoroughly that those things usually aren't enough so i'll often just write the tag and then reach out to ask if it's ok or if i should roll it back. if this bothers you i can reach out with more in-depth step-by-step hypotheticals on his nonsense or if you want to opt-out entirely of dealing with him that's totally fine and understandable.

additionally,

his canon deals with some fucked-up topics and Gojo himself gets pretty alarmingly amoral on multiple occasions, so please consider the following warnings and feel free to opt out of playing with him:

Amoral - while Gojo is undeniably on the side of the 'good guys' in his canon, he does, uh, kill a lot of people without much remorse. He does genuinely try to avoid collateral damage of innocents and considers it his job to protect the weak, he's also pretty cruel toward anyone who opposes him.

Willing to commit massacres - There are two particular massacres that I tend to refer to in my tags because they're critical to my perspective on Gojo's characterization. One he doesn't commit but offers to, of a group of unarmed civilians guilty of involvement in an unpleasant cult. The other he only commits at the end of manga canon but I'll occasionally refer to it in his thoughts as something he'd really like to do one day, of a group of corrupt leaders within the sorcerer community. They are corrupt but it's honestly unclear to what degree, and there's certainly no trial or tribunal. Gojo just appoints himself judge, jury, and executioner, and slaughters them in order to put authority of the sorcerer community into the hands of leaders he himself deems worthy.

Self-Centered with a God Complex - What's the difference between Gojo and God? Well, God doesn't think he's Gojo ...
While he's capable of enough empathy to like other people, Gojo still tends to think about people solely in terms of how they relate to him, and rarely (if ever) considers the comfort or preferences of others before doing what he wants. Only a very small group of his closest friends have any influence at all on his actions, and even then he only tends to listen to their input if it's an especially big deal to them.

In addition to those big-ticket items, he's aggressively arrogant, rude, and mocking toward people he dislikes, and he's still pretty annoying, demanding, and careless toward people he likes.
